Little Prisons Collection Paintings Shop Update!!!

Hooray!!! The Little Prisons collection paintings are all on their way to the shop!!!
( They are expected to escape over there at 2.00 EST )

For the last couple of weeks, I have been engulfed in thinking about boundaries we trap ourselves into, little everyday habits that soon turn to routine, and imprisonment of our conscious (and subconscious) self in general...This formed a new collection of paintings, that took me on an amazing journey, challenged me constantly, but upon completion of each one, they provided a feeling of fulfillment, almost a feeling of release and freedom, the promise of which seems to underlie all of them...

The Great Escape, acrylics on canvas, 10 x 12 in.

The Spinster, acrylics on canvas, 7 x 10 in.

The Safe Place, acrylics on canvas, 10 x 12 in.

Comfortably Numb, acrylics on canvas, 7 x 10 in.

The Defeatist, acrylics on canvas, 13.8 x 7.9 in.

Caught In Time, acrylics on canvas, 7.9 x 15.7 in.

I also have some news for you...We will be moving to Brighton,UK in September, and that lovely hedgehog-boyfriend of mine has been there for the past few days house-hunting for us...

I am oh-so-extremely-and-utterly-happy to move back over there...
Unfortunately, he didn't take any pictures of the house to bring back with him tomorrow, (he wants it to be a surprise, although he had to reassure me several dozens of times of its awesomeness) but I promise I will post some as soon as we get there!
And of course this little guy is coming with us....

Happy August everyone!!!
xoxo

Brighton, you say? I have a buddy that I grew up with over here that owns a tattoo shop there now.
When we were in London we kept trying to get down there, but we got lucky and he came to us!
Can't wait to see pics of the new place!
