The Curious Croquet-Ground

"...she had never seen such a curious croquet-ground in her life; it was all ridges and furrows; the croquet balls were live hedgehogs!"

And of course, in the center of it all, there stands the Red Queen...

The Curious Croquet-Ground, acrylics on canvas, 10 x 12 in.

Little Things To Sweeten Your Mail

Here is a sparkling new postcard pack for you of the Little Fairytale Ladies collection.
The printers really did a wonderful job, and I am sure these will make
the sweetest of surprises to fill one's mailbox!

They are lovely as postcards, thank-you notecards, or as a very cute way indeed
to acquire the whole collection and have them framed!
I am keeping several sets for myself to send out this Christmas!

The pack consists of 6 postcards, one of each of:
-Golden Locks
-Little Bear
-Snow White
-Rose Red
-The Princess And The Pea
-Rapunzel
Each postcard has sweet round corners, is printed on premium, 215 gsm glossy fronted card stock, with a blank matte back side, and measures 5.5 x 4.2 in.

The set comes with 6 gorgeous red and green envelopes (3-4 of each), packaged up in a sealed plastic sleeve.

They are available here!

A Mad Hatter's Riddle

Although Lewis Carroll reassures us that he wrote of the famous Mad Hatter's riddle with no particular answer in mind, as I was painting this rather flamboyant cutie, I had the impression that this was only partly true.
Of course Lewis Carroll wouldn't know the answer...
And of course the Mad Hatter does.

Why Is A Raven Like A Writing Desk?, acrylics on canvas, 12 x 10 inch.

A Tea Party

I have long wanted to pay a small tribute to one of my favorite books,
the -ever-enchanting-no-matter-how many times you have read it before-
Alice in Wonderland.
I wanted to create a collection inspired by this lovely, dear book, and breathe into it my own twist, and thus, I have literally been painting my summer away, and I am very happy
indeed with the results so far!
So, without further ado, here is the first painting of the collection:

A Tea Party, acrylics on canvas, 10 x 12 inch.
