Surprises In The Mail And New Work To See

A couple of weeks back, I took part in 'find-the-hidden-theme' contest, courtesy of Studio Haus and I won!!! So today I was overexcited to receive my gift in the mail...look how cute these two envelopes look!!!

I miss proper, old-fashioned letters...Don't get me wrong, I love technology and all its wonderful conveniences, but I miss handwritten words and smelling the paper on old letters and books. (yes I know that's quirky :)) I wish letter-writing made a comeback..

Also, I finally finished a new painting today, and I am very happy with the way it turned out!!! I apologize for the crummy photo, but my camera simply won't cooperate with me today...I will scan it later on and come back with (much more clear) details tomorrow!

The Candy Cane Field, Acrylics on canvas, 10 x 12 in.

Thank You Lovely Kristie!

Mina was featured by the lovely and so, so talented Kristie in a treasury ( which is as yummy and adorable as her art)... and her blog is so gorgeous as well....

Thank you so, so much!!! (Blueberry muffins are in order, I think...I owe you a batch!)

New Dollie On The Block

I finished working on her yesterday (hand-painting her face, to be exact), and she came out pretty-pretty, no? She will be making her way to the little shop in a few days' time, along with some other new additions and whimsicalities!!!!(Update: She's there now!!!)

Summertime...

It is officially summer now, and you can tell by this photo of yours truly...

...and that break on the beach was very much needed indeed, as this has been a busy, busy week preparing new exciting things for the little shop, which I will share with you in a few days!!! Lots of new paintings, drawings, and some fun wee bits as well, which I am totally swooning over!!!

Oh! Also, a huge, huge thank you on your support so far!!! It has been priceless!!!

xoxo
