She Left Home

A quiet realisation of the fact that only we hold the keys to our inner world.
And that only we can choose who to give those keys to.

Wash Away The Pain

A tribute to lovingly kept memories and wounds that haven't quite healed.
A homage to reflections and the gifts they bring along with them.
A glimpse into the possibilities they unlock and the secrets they keep forever locked safe inside.

Wash Away The Pain, acrylics on canvas, 8 x 10 in.

A lovely week to everyone!

Truthfully

Hello there.
I know it's been quite a while.
Too much has happened in such a short while, that I can barely keep up with what goes on inside me at the moment. Feelings that I thought were crystallised and safely tucked away resurfaced, and they have swept me away once more.
I have lost all my safety blankets, and I have become exposed.
There's no telling if this will ultimately drag me down or lift me up.
Only time will tell.
Truthfully, acrylics on canvas, 8 x 10 in.

as Eward R. Murrow so beautifully put it:
"Most truths are so naked that people feel sorry for them and cover them up, at least a little bit."
