A Swap Of Cute

I participated in Katie's craft swap a few days ago, and got teamed up with the lovely Sophie as my swap partner...And I was Christmas-morning excited to receive these in the mail yesterday:

Isn't this adorable? Needless to say, being my quirky self, I immediately fell in love with that drawing/collage that reads: There she stands this lovely creature...Plus that brooch is making me so happy just by looking at it! Thank you so much for everything Sophie, I am wowed by it all!

So now that she has got her package as well, I can go ahead and show you what I made for her without spoiling any surprises, no? Here's the little package I put together for her:

Declarations Of Love

Here are two sparkling new postcard packs for you of the 'You Gave Me Wings' and 'You Are In Sweet Company' paintings. The printers really did a wonderful job, and I am sure these will make the sweetest of surprises to fill one's mailbox!

They are lovely as valentines, everyday declarations of love and endearment, postcards, or thank-you notecards!The packs consist of 5 postcards. Each postcard is printed on premium, 215 gsm glossy fronted card stock, with a blank matte back side, and measures 5.5 x 4.2 in.
Each set comes with 3 gorgeous cherry red envelopes and 2 lovery coral pink ones, wrapped with a sweet paper band and packaged up in a sealed plastic sleeve.

Little Prisoner Doll n.3

It was about time for another one of these...

She is made out of 100% cotton, and apart from her dress, (which retains the lovely pattern of the fabric, and was just perfect for this theme) everything else is completely hand-painted, and she has been accessorized with some ribbon, a cute button and a little vintage lace ...
I am so happy with the way she turned out!!!
She measures 15.7 in., and can either sit or hang on a wall, thanks to a small ribbon loop behind her lovely head!


She will be part of the upcoming shop update, too!

Oooh! I just had a peek over at MOMA's site for Tim Burton's ongoing exhibition and it is so perfect! I love the way they have organized everything, and the music (which isn't credited anywhere on the site, so I am guessing it is by Danny Elfman is beautiful!)

A Little Acorn Enclosure

These little postcards arrived today from the printers, and while they will be added to the shop on the next update, ( I am waiting for some lovely and oh-so-pretty coral pink envelopes to team them up with to arrive) they will also be included with every little order as a special little gift!!!

I am so happy with the way they turned out!

The Playroom (and little friends to play with)

This Christmas morning, this was waiting for me under the tree:

It's the Sylvanian Families Water Mill Bakery, and it has to be one of the best Christmas presents (for me anyway!). Plus I also got the Cream Cats family, which was so sweet of my little hedgehog, as I am missing this little guy way too much...

I think he got his idea for what to get me this year when he saw me painting this little girl:
